My name is Lucinda. I was at home, reading a book called "The Challenge". I was almost at the end.

I read the last sentence and it said "They couldn't survive THE CHALLENGE... can you?" I thought it was give me the link to a website where I could play a game, but there wasn't. The result would be much much worse.
Nothing.
Nothing came after that, and I felt like I was spinning. The walls around me blurred, so was the bed. Then it went black.
I woke up, in a forest... no... THE forest! The forest from my book. I was in The Challenge. I knew the monster would kick in a few minutes, so I had to escape. The book was clever though. The main character died, meaning that the reader couldn't know where to escape, but I did know where to go when the character got close.
I ran and ran, but stepped on a twig. I heard growling. This is it. The end of me.
It attacked from behind...
